I must thank all the people who have been very helpful and considerate. Kanta and myself can not forget this period.

Although, she has to be hospitalised for various problems but Kanta with her strong will power fights with the pain and suffering.

Monu's Birthday celebration

Monu's Birthday celebration. Kanta loves kids. Even after such major accident only because of her will power she is giving better response to medicines.

Although we have an intercast marriage but Kanta, with her loving behaviour quickly mixed up with my family.

आजकाल एकमेकांना द्यायला पुरेसा वेळ आपल्याकडे नसतो. अशा वेळी संवेदना हरवून बसलेल्या बायकोची विनातक्रार सेवा करणारा पती, किशोर आपली बायको आपल्याशी पुन्हा पूर्वीसारखी गप्पा मारेल या आशेवर आहे. तो आपल्या बायकोची, आई, पती, मुलगा या सगळ्या भूमिकांमधून सेवा करत आहे. किशोर-कांता या जोडप्याची ही वास्तव कथा व्हॅलेंटाइन साजरा करणाऱ्या प्रत्येक जोडप्यासाठी आदर्श आहे.

कांता.. सर्वसामान्य सिंधी कुटुंबातील मुलगी.. जिचा स्वतच्या कर्तृत्वावर प्रचंड विश्वास आहे. स्वतचं वेगळं अस्तित्व निर्माण करण्याच्या उर्मीनं धडपडणाऱ्या कांताने जिद्दीनं पदव्युत्तर शिक्षण पूर्ण केलं आणि एका सरकारी विमा कंपनीत स्टेनोग्राफर म्हणून काम सुरू केलं. दरम्यान तिने मुंबई इन्शुरन्स इन्स्टिटय़ुटमधून असोसिएटशिपही मिळविली. आपल्या कामाबद्दल ती अतिशय प्रामाणिक असायची. एखादं काम हाती घेतलं की ते पूर्ण झाल्याशिवाय ती स्वस्थ बसायची नाही. दुसऱ्याच्या मदतीसाठी सदैव तत्पर असणारी कांता सर्वामध्ये मिळून मिसळून राहायची. तिच्या या स्वभावामुळेच ऑफिसमध्ये सर्वजण तिची स्तुती करायचे. दरम्यान तिच्या ऑफिसमध्येच काम करणारा किशोर तिला पहिल्यांदा भेटला आणि पहिल्या भेटीतच तिच्या प्रेमात पडला. तिच्यासोबत आयुष्याची स्वप्न तो रंगवू लागला.

ही कहाणी 'कांता'ची आहे. पण कुठल्याही मध्यमवर्गीय नोकरीपेशा घरात ही दुर्दैवी घटना घडती तर अशीच परिस्थिती ओढवली असती, हे निश्चित. स्टेनोग्राफर म्हणून सरकारी विमा कंपनीत रुजू होऊन कालांतराने ऑफिसर बनलेली कांता... अशा स्त्रिया आपल्याकडे घरोघरी सापडतील. अशा स्त्रीच्या वाट्याला अपघातातून कायमस्वरुपी बिछान्याला खिळून राहणं आलं तर...?

आज दिनांक 24.1.2010 रोजी झी टिव्ही मराठी च्या "याला जीवन ऐसे नाव" या एका वेगळ्या टॉक शो मध्ये श्री किशोर मोहिते यांच्या जगावेगळ्या आयुष्यावर एक भाग चित्रित करण्यात आला. सर्वांच्या लाडक्या, रेणूका शहाणे मॅडम ह्या या कार्यक्रमाच्या सूत्रधार होत्या. रेणूका मॅडमनी अतिशय सुरेख पद्धतीने या टॉक शो मध्ये आलेल्या किशोर च्या नातेवाईक, मित्र मंडळी व कार्यालयातील सहकारी ह्यांच्या ह्रदयस्पर्शी मुलाखती घेतल्या. इतके छान पैलू त्यांनी प्रकाशात आणले कि मी स्वतः अचंभित झालो. समोरील व्यक्तीवर कोणतेही दडपण न आणता त्यांच्या मनातल्या भावना त्यांनी ओठावर आणल्या.

ह्या शो च्या निमित्ताने एक गोष्ट जाणवली कि आम्ही सगळे किती एकमेकांच्या जवळ आलो आहोत व एकमेकांवर जिवापाड प्रेम करणारे सुह्रद बनलो आहोत. किशोर आणि कांता च्या निमित्ताने स्वः चा शोध लागतो आहे. आयुष्य हे खुप छान आहे आणि आलेल्या अडचणींना आपण सगळे मिळून तोंड देऊ शकतो हा विश्वास मनात निर्माण झाला आहे.

एरव्ही आम्ही ज्या गोष्टी बोलायच्या टाळतो त्या ह्या निमित्ताने ओठांवर आल्या. का कुणास ठाऊक पण लहानपणापासून आपल्या भावनांचं प्रदर्शन न करायची जणू सवयचं लागली आहे. आजचं जे दिलखुलास बोलणं झालं त्यामूळे खुप छान वाटतंय. ह्या सगळ्याबद्धल झी टिव्ही च्या यूनिटचे आणि अपर्णा मॅडम, उपाध्याय मॅडम व बिपिन कांबळे तसेच आशा मटाले मॅडमना मनापासून धन्यवाद. किशोर ची कहाणी ही एक प्रेरणादायक कहाणी आहे. ह्या कहाणीला सर्व देशभरात पोहचवल्याबद्धल झी चे धन्यवाद.

Kanta, my ardhangini means everything to me-a friend, philosopher as also a guide. She joined the New India Assurance Company Limited in 1987 purely on her own merit. She graduated in first class in commerce. She joined the company as a stenographer & also did her Associate ship from the Mumbai Insurance Institute. During her service with the company, Kanta also managed to complete her post graduation. I like her as she is very true & has only good intentions in her heart of hearts.

Please Help !

Hello Everybody,

This website is developed for a Lady Mrs. Kanta Kishore Mohite. Mrs. Kanta Mohite, an Officer (Assistant Manager) at a big public sector general insurance company, The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. met with an accident on 19th October, 2006. She sustained head injury. Doctors said her brain injury is 80%. In other words it meant "No survival".

Nobody could have survived after such an accident. But Mrs. Kanta Kishore Mohite, a very strong lady with tremendous will power survived the accident. Her husband Kishor Mohite, has done everything in his capacity. With strong faith in God and love for his wife, he helped her to recover. Now she can talk and recognise her friends and relatives.

Through this website, we friends of Kishore and Kanta want to raise funds for further treatment of Kanta. Any type of help is welcome. You can donate or if you know someone who can help please let us know.

Interview on Zee Marathi

Kishore appeared in Zee Marathi's "Yala Jivan Aise Naav". A very good programme hosted by Renuka Shahane, who is very compassionate host. It was in true sense reality show, as nobody has briefed any participants about what to say in front of camera. Everyone expressed their feeling without any hesitations. Though I think of myself as very strong man, couldn't control my tears when I heard stories from the participants.
